Know Your God

But the people who know their God shall be strong! (Daniel 11:32)

God loves you and God is all good. When you can’t see His hand and you can’t figure out what He is doing trust His good heart:

God is love (1 John 4:16).
God does not change (James 1:17)
God is abounding in love and faithfulness. God is slow to anger, God is compassionate and gracious (Exodus 34:6).
God is good and what God does is good (Psalms 119:68).
God is rich in mercy (Ephesians 2:4).
God loved you first (1John 4:10).
God sent His Son to die for you (John 3:16).
God has delivered your soul from death (Psalms 116:8).
God made you a new creation and gives you righteousness as His child (2 Corinthians 5:17).
God is always with you (Isaiah 43:1-2).
God hears your cries (Psalms 116:1).
God will never stop loving you (Psalms 118:1).
God reveals Himself to you if you seek Him (Proverbs 8:17).
God is always faithful (Deuteronomy 7:9).
God is full of mercy for His children (Psalms 103:13).
God knows what you need before you ask Him (Matthew 6:8).
God hears your prayers (Proverbs 15:29).
God is a strong tower of protection for you (Proverbs 18:10).
God knows what you need and God will provide for you (Matthew 6:31-32).
God is refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Proverbs 46:1).
God will direct your steps when you seek Him (Proverbs 3:5-6).
God gives you hope and grace (2 Thessalonians 2:16).
God will give you everlasting peace (John 14:27).
God will give you joy that no one can take away (John 16:22)
God is your help and shield (Psalms 115:9).
God will give you sweet sleep (Proverbs 3:24).
His desire is to bless you (Deuteronomy 7:13) with more than you can ask or imagine (I Corinthians 2:9)
God is gracious and compassionate (Psalms 111:4).
God will comfort you (Psalms 119:50).
God offers you rest if you run to Him (Psalms 91).
God blesses you if you trust in Him (Psalms 84:12).
God rejoices over you (Isaiah 62:5).
Found this in my documents on my computer today, and thought that it was a powerful reminder of what a great and mighty God we serve. The best part about all of these things is that God PROMISED in His Word to be and fulfill all of this for us! These aren't just man made attributes, God specifically tells us that this is His Character and this is HOW much He loves us!
